There's a sense of satisfaction to getting it right. The same applies to the bowling on the opposite side - immersing players in the heart of the action. For all the things that International Cricket gets right - there still are a few flaws. The cricket mechanics are replicated very well - but in detailing the sport, there are glitches. Sometimes there are character and AI freezes which frustrate the gameplay.

Camera control can also get a bit choppy and over-sensitive. All in all, though, anybody who enjoys cricket will be surprised at how well International Cricket came out.

The biggest surprise for someone inept with the rules or workings of cricket would be surprised to find how decent of a game it is. The most respected feature is that the developers really put effort into making this a challenging and immersive experience - even alluring non-players into the mix.

From a cricketer's perspective - they can agree that International Cricket is an improvement over Ashes Cricket It comes with its flaws - but the level of detail is admirable. More importantly, it looks and feels good.
