Really really fast. It does increase concave lenses properly, but those are less useful given the game is all about focusing light on a point.

Also, the X-ray Tube's non-interaction zone doesn't match what is displayed. It shows a smaller non-interaction radius than the basic light emitter, but it actually uses the exact same radius.
