Change icon spacing windows xp

Somebody out there knows what to do, I hope I hear something! Best Regards, tlk. I would like to see evidence that MS are pushing RegCure. RegCure is one of those slightly bogus pieces of software which finds 's of problems in the registry and will only 'fix' them if the software is paid for. Such programs are not to be trusted, all the company want's is your money and if you then seek a refund that's rather wishful thinking.

There are complaints about RegCure all over the Internet, an example here Thank you for all the help. It did ask for the XP home, but the one I have is a copy. I do still have the license sticker on the side of my case. I would have to go back to them I thought it would be a simpler quicker fix - but nothing is simple with Microsoft!

Thanks again! System Restore may be an alternative? Hi krueger, Have you tried updating your Video Card and Monitor drivers? Once you apply you may need to right click on the desktop and do a Refresh or even logoff and back on. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. I have a small screen laptop. Because I want a decent number of programs on my taskbar for easy access, I chose small icons and no names, etc.

Even so, the small program icons when not in use are spaced so far apart that there is little room to spare. New open programs quickly cause grouping and are hard to manage.

Why does Microsoft put so much blank space between the unopened small icons? Easy to follow. No jargon. Pictures helped. Didn't match my screen. Incorrect instructions. Too technical. Not enough information. Not enough pictures. Any additional feedback? They might also be a size problem due to scaling algorithm if the requested size of the icon is not available.
