This does mean that the quality is better as there are more pixels per inch. The screen is very vibrant, which is important at least in my book. It is also important to me that I can run my device with a slightly lower brightness level than the top setting.

I was able to do that with the JAM successfully in almost any conditions. The only time my screen was at full brightness was when the camera forced it to be. This also means a better battery life for the device. Power was not a major problem while using the JAM.
